La Verne Abe's Story
This July 3, 2019 Carl and I have been married for 48 years and I still think he is the best thing that ever happened to me. Presently I am a Professor at Arizona State University. I travel across the country giving talks. I loved Purdue University, but dang ... it was cold there. We moved away from FYAO (freeze your ass off) Indiana back to AZ.
Our two children are grown. Our daughter lives in AZ and is working on renewing her...Expand for more
teaching certification. Our son is living in Colorado and is CEO of USA Triathlon.
I still paint in my art studio and write, illustrate, and design books. Carl still picks his banjo and golfs. He just celebrated his last birthday by climbing Colorado's Manitou Incline (2,744 steps, 45 to 68 degrees steep, elevation from 7K to 9K), while I am getting ready for knee surgery. LOL.
